Hey, Ian here. Great story for you. When I was young I used to be in Special Olympics. Well, I trained up and one year I started at a big competition, kept on winning first place. That led up to the Richmond finals where I got to shake hands with folks who held the torch. Another race came on-100 yard dash I think. (I remember it was close to 100 too man) Anyway the race starts and my shoe comes flying off halfway through and I was halfway ahead of my 2 other runners. Now the decision comes up-do I finish the race with my shoe off or do I go back and get it? I went back for it. Mistake!!! The 2 runners gain my speed and one came in winning. If I didn’t go back for my shoe that race would’ve been mine!!! lol
